The Ibla Buskers Festival, festa di artisti di strada, has been held in the amazingly Baroque old town of the Sicilian town Ragusa for the last 12 years. Being at the end of the European outdoor festival season, usually being held in October, it is also a meeting place for many on the circuit, a celebration of the ended summer, connecting with friends and taking it easy in the benevolent Sicilian climate. performances from street artists from all over the world take place in the lovely alleys and piazzas of the old town, and go on mostly in the evenings. - Gusti , posted 10/30/06 |
